We are excited to see you at the 2025 Duck Derby on Sunday, June 8!
Registration is $25 until May 15, and $30 after and until race day.
Adopt a duck for $10.00 to be entered into the duck derby. Your duck will be dropped into the Mighty Ohio River with numerous others for a race to the finish line where the first five ducks plucked from the water will win cash or prizes.
Come dressed in your Derby Best Dressed. Don't forget the Hat! It is just not all about ducks, at 5 PM we will parade the derby hats through the car cruise with three winners to take home prizes from Largest Hat, Most Unique Hat, and Best Duck Themed Hat.
Come to Wellsburg for the evening of a community celebration. Make the evening by enjoying local food venders.
Cruise in with your Antique Cars, Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, Street Rods and most importantly, the people that love them to Wellsburg 6th Street Wharf. This Car Cruise In is free to participate, please arrive with your car between 1:30-2:45 PM. Street will close off promptly at 2:50 PM for the safety of everyone and will remain closed until 7 PM. Music, Food and a Duck Derby, what more could you ask for? Yes we have that covered too, all funds raised will go to the Wellsburg Kiwanis Club to support children in our local area.
